Our Mission:

At Petbound, we believe we can change this number together.
We built Petbound for the animals with the least time left. Shelters across the country publish lists of pets they have scheduled for euthanasia, and those listings are scattered, hard to search, and easy to miss. We collect them every day, give each animal its own page, and point people straight at the shelter that can still let them out.
How Petbound Works
1. Targeting the Urgent
Every day we collect at-risk listings published by shelters, gathered through DogsInDanger.com, and record each animal's breed, photo, scheduled date, and the reason the shelter gave. Nothing here is a general adoption listing. Every pet on Petbound has a date.
2. Maximizing Visibility
Our platform is optimized for discovery, ensuring these pets are seen by a wide audience of potential adopters and foster homes. We streamline the initial contact process, getting the animals noticed fast.
3. Securing the Connection
Every listing carries the shelter's own phone number and email, so you can call the people holding that animal today. Adoptions happen through the shelter directly. Petbound takes no fee and handles no part of the transaction.
