Heidi A5783305 was at the back of the kennel when the runner approached her, the runner coaxed her, she slowly walked over to him, her body was low, her eyes were soft but concerned and her tail was low with no wag. She was easy to remove but required a lot of coaxing to walk through the kennels. In the catch pen when she was introduced to the dogs her body was neutral, her eyes were neutral and her tail was low with no wag. She was easy to collar and leash. She entered the yard and ignored the dogs. She kept to herself. She was quiet, she sat by the bench. She was tolerant of the dogs hovering around her but she would become uncomfortable. She sat by the handler and solicited affection. She did not engage in play but she was able to co-exist with the dogs. Overall, Heidi was tolerant of the dogs and does not have a playstyle at this time. She allowed the handler to pet her everywhere, her body was relaxed, her eyes were soft, her tail wagged neutrally, her mouth was slightly open with a soft pant and her ears were relaxed. She rested her body against the handler's legs and she brushed her body against her when the handler stopped petting her. Overall, Heidi was social with the handler and displayed no concerning behavior during her handling. Heidi will require leash training. Behaviorally ok for public adoption, large calm dogs recommended, medium energy.
