Nala A5791519 was laying down when the runner approached her, the runner coaxed her, she slowly walked over to her, her eyes were soft but concerned, her tail was low with a soft wag, her body was neutral, her ears were alert and her mouth was closed. The runner attempted to leash her, Nala retrieved to the back of the kennel, she re-approached her when coaxed. She curled her lips at her, her tail tucked but when the runner coaxed her and knelt, Nala relaxed and started wagging her tail again. The runner was able to safely remove her from the kennel, she moderately pulled on leash. In the catch pen when she was introduced to the dogs her body was neutral, her eyes were alert and her tail was neutral with no wag. She was easy to collar and leash. She entered the yard and ignored the dogs. The dogs approached her and sniffed her, she was nervous and uncomfortable. She solicited affection from the handler. She was mouthy at times (all in a playful manner), She jumped on the handler and rested her body against the handler's lap. Overall, Nala was social with the handler and displayed no aggression during her handling.
