Honey + Puppies is an adoptable female Husky looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. 07/20/2026 Actively nursing litter - limited evaluation due to medical Dog was nervous laying down in the corner of the kennel with pups with a slinking body and wide eyes. She was easily leashed and walked outside with verbal encouragement where she stopped walking seemingly nervous. She was easily carried outside. She allowed affection and was nervous of movement/noises retreating on leash with a tense/low body. Walking back to kennel, she began biting and trying to back out of the leash. She began growling and was slowly walked back to her kennel. She did not display barrier reactivity nor guarding of the litter at this time. 08/03/2026 Actively nursing litter - limited evaluation due to medical Continuing to work with her, she slowly comes over to sniff me and retreats as she is nervous. Sitting down, she comes back over and takes treats gently by hand. She is able to be leashed where she is fearful walking on it by pausing and then attempting to pull back out of leash. She is able to be carried. Did not view barrier reactivity nor guarding of the litter.
