Mavis is an adoptable female American Bulldog looking for a home at Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is senior and medium in size. I appear to be a spayed female, black and white American Bully. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 years old. More Info: I was picked up in Charlotte. I have been at the shelter since Jun 24, 2026. I am available for adoption. -potty trained, no accidents in the house at all -loves to be around people, hanging out on the couch or just splooting on the floor in the room you're in -tires out fast from a 15 minute walk, on hot days it's even faster (likely due to her bulldog mix breed) -does have some leash pull when she's freshly energized -likely best as the only pet in the house, stares and pulls strongly towards cats and dogs but slow intros may work -she loves car rides, is a good passenger -likes to roll around in the grass, especially when it's dewey -not destructive at all in the house, she's got awesome well-rounded manners -overall she's a great companion dog and a VERY sweet gal!!!
