*Meet Wiley who has come a long way in just a few days and he is available for adoption While he's made wonderful progress, he's still quite fearful and will do best in a patient home without small children, where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace** Wiley is a 2 year old Australian Cattle mix! He is part one positive has been treated. He will need further treatment. He is on a slow kill method and it is inexpensive. A151099 Wiley When Wiley first came to us, he was underweight, terrified, and unsure of everything around him. Over the past few weeks, our staff has worked with him every day, giving him patience, consistency, and the time he needed to begin trusting people. Today, Wiley is ready for the next step, but he needs the right one. Because of his fear of new people and unfamiliar environments, He is a significant flight risk, which means due to his fear. He will probably try to run at the first chance he gets so we always advise people dogs like this. It's best to have a good harness and just keep an eye on them until they feel safe and while we have NOT seen any aggression from him, pushing him too quickly or forcing him would not be good poor boy Wiley deserves a calm, quiet home where he can decompress at his own pace with someone who understands fearful dogs and is committed to helping him build confidence through patience and positive reinforcement. Please come to meet this sweet boy.
