Mandy is an adoptable female Australian Kelpie looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Mandy, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

08/16/2026 Days At Shelter 11 Patient presented from overnight clinic- HBC At Risk Since 2026-08-25 QAR, very sweet. Radiographs indicate fracture of the right diaphysis of the femur and the head of the femur. Fractures noted in right and left ischium and along the pubis. Right SI joint luxation Plan: Continue with current treatment plan 08/24/2026 patient was initially examined by dr johnson- notes to follow- patient was reported hbc trauma, was reportedly nonweight bearing in pelvic limbs with suspect pelvic injury, today patient is bar, e/d well, no overt respiratory symptoms noted, ambulatory- weight bearing LH and toe-touching lameness RH, walks well on leash and pulls on leash when taken out to kennels has initial pelvic rads- can recheck pelvic rads with placement- contact clinic supervisor to schedule no surgery at this time to permit patient more time to heal from injury- ok for FTA- can also have sx if at risk Name: Mandy Animal ID: A821872 (F) Estimated Age 2 Years, BLACK / TAN, SHEPHERD / BLEND DOG Weight: 30 lbs | Days at Shelter: 11
