NO Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 8/26/2026 Handler approached front kennel, dog was loose in posture. Handler reappraoched and pulled dog from back kennel. Dog was excitable and taking treats from handler. Handler was able to drape leash over head and secure without issue. Once secured handler opened gate and walked dog to nearby PY. Dog pulled moderately. Once in PY handler adjusted leash stopper and released dog. Both handler stood near bench and dog sniffed around yard, marked and defecated. Dog paced fence line with tense posture and flagged tail. Dog eventually approached handlers with loose posture and solicited pets, dog took treats from handler gently. After some time dog returned to sniffing around and discovered a tennis bal. Dog became fixated on ball and retrieved it to handlers. Handlers tried to swap ball for treats, dog was not interested. Dog would repeatedly drop ball over and over again near handlers feet but not leave long enough to pick up and through. In the rare occasion dog was distracted long enough handlers would pick up and through ball and repeat. After a few minutes of this handler retrieved leash and placed clip leash. Handler then walked dog to back kennel, dog was hesitant to enter kennel and would pull towards neighboring kennels. Handler tried to toss in treats and attempted leash pressure guidance but dog would continue to back out of kennel before able to close. Assistant handler went to front and locked in neighboring kennels and helped call dog into kennel.
