Would not walk out of kennel with treats or verbal coaxing. Slowly placed blanket over dog & carried to new kennel to provide 2 kennel spaces. Allowed to be placed into kennel & removed leash by hand without issues. 8/23/2026 Dog was at front of kennel, neutral body language, eyes shifting. Accepted treat. Easy to leash. Hesitated briefly, then hopped out of kennel. Dog walked a few feet on leash, then froze, began pulling back. Handler was able to use blanket wrap to pick dog up, carry to M&G room. In room, dog kept distance, some trembling, eyes shifting. Would slowly approach when handler offered treats, accepted them gently, cautiously. Flinched hard away from any attempts to pet. Dog would whine, begin jumping at room door, all fours off ground. Handler called dog, dog turned towards handler, approached, briefly sniffed hand, then darted away. Remained nervous for duration of eval, continued to accept treats but kept distance from handler. Handler used blanket wrap to carry dog back to kennel, removed leash by hand before returning. 8/22/2026 Dog was standing in back corner; verbally coaxed; tossed treats; ate some treats; opened door; remained at front; allowed for easy leash; verbally coaxed; offered treat; ate treat; would not jump down; placed towel over; picked up; carried; tense body.
