Marla + Puppies is an adoptable female Catahoula Leopard Dog looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. RESCUE ONLY 🆘️ 🐾 Meet Mom MARLA ID #A2092606 2-year-old female Catahoula mix | Brown Merle / White Weight: 49 lbs Mom Marla Intake: 8/22/2026 Her babies were born in the shelter on 8/23 and are only 4 DAYS OLD: MEENY #A2092693 ' Male | Blue Merle MINY #A2092783 ' Female | Black / White MOE #A2092784 ' Male | Black ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Marla arrived on 8/22 and was documented as possibly pregnant, weighing 49 lbs. Her three newborn babies entered the shelter the following morning and are listed as underage/underweight. Marla is heartworm negative and has received DA2PP, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, dewormer and Advantage Multi. The puppies were born 8/22/26 and are completely dependent at this tiny age. No individual puppy weights or additional medical notes were provided. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Marla was initially hesitant when staff approached and avoided the leash, but after being given some time, she came forward and walked loosely on leash. With three newborn babies depending on her, Marla and her little family desperately need a quiet, safe place away from the stressful shelter environment.
