Blossom

Blossom is an adoptable female Akita looking for a home at Apple Valley Animal Services in Apple Valley, California. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Blossom, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

She has had her hackles up when one approaches her but will slowly calm down and become social8/14/26 - she is a little anxious and nervous at first but warms up quickly. Once she trust she is very cuddly and playful. Appears to have a high prey drive as she was very focused on birds, cats, and any trash that passed by through a window. She could be pet head to tail with ease, she gave staff lots of kisses. She walked well on the leash and was non-reactive to the other dogs.AC
