Munchie

Munchie is an adoptable male Chow Chow looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is senior and large in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Munchie, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: Limited evaluation due to medical - no dog/dog interaction at this time. Dog is laying down upon approach with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a low tail. He displays sociability with me by coming over for treats offered by hand with a same body language. He retreats from leash where he leashed and walked outside where he pulls on leash. He displays sociability with all handlers by coming over to greet with a tense body, pinned ears and a low tail where he is most interested in sniffing in grass independently. He is easy to return to kennel.
