Clifford earned his name after he was rescued from the Franklin Mountains, where our Animal Protection Officers found him stranded high on a cliff. During the rescue, he became frightened and jumped, suffering injuries that required emergency veterinary care. Today, he's recovering well and proving every day that he's as resilient as he is sweet. Despite everything he's been through, Clifford has remained friendly, gentle, and incredibly brave. He enjoys being around people and has shown us that he's ready to leave his difficult past behind. Clifford is still recovering from his injuries, so his future family should be prepared to follow any medical recommendations from our veterinary team as he continues to heal. We believe his best days are still ahead of him. After everything he's overcome, Clifford deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and a life where his biggest struggle is deciding where to take his next nap.
