During treatment, she reportedly became defensive and protective of her resources and has now had one attempted bite and one bite incident. The shelter notes that this type of behavior can happen in a stressful shelter setting, especially with an older dog who may be frightened, uncomfortable, sick, and confused about suddenly finding herself there. 💔 The rescue blast says Lady's behavior now puts her at risk for behavioral decline and that she cannot remain at the shelter.
