Spyder is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at Miami-Dade Animal Services in Doral, Florida. He is fully grown and medium in size. 5 DAY BLAST 🚨 URGENT RESCUE NEEDED FOR SPYDER #A2763147 🚨 📍 Miami-Dade Animal Services Spyder has been sitting in the shelter for an heartbreaking 191 days ' and the stress of that environment is taking a serious toll on him. 💔 He is now considered URGENT and needs to leave the shelter as soon as possible. 🐾 SPYDER #A2763147 ' Male ' Terrier mix ' 3 years old ' At the shelter since February 18, 2026 After so many months confined in the shelter, Spyder has developed significant kennel frustration and reactivity. During a recent walk, he became extremely overstimulated after leaving his kennel and bit and latched onto the leash. The shelter also reports that this prolonged frustration has now resulted in a bite to a person. But there is another side to Spyder. Once he was moved outside and given time to decompress, he was able to release the leash and settle in the play yard. This boy desperately needs to get out of the stressful shelter environment and into the hands of an experienced rescue that can give him the decompression, structure and behavioral support he needs. ⚠️ The shelter states that Spyder can no longer remain there. The rescue notice says that within 5 days of this August 28 rescue blast, his pathway will be determined and could include an immediate euthanasia deadline. We cannot wait until that happens to start sharing him.
