More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 29, 2026. I am in kennel SOUTHB18. Weight: 45.6 lbs Intake date: 7/29/2026 Sarina arrived at BARC as a stray after reportedly being among 10 dogs abandoned by their previous owner when the owner moved. 🐾Came in together #A2088479 #A2088484 #A2088485 #A2088486 #A2088487 #A2088488 #A2088489 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Sarina arrived at BARC as a stray after reportedly being among 10 dogs abandoned by their previous owner when the owner moved. She arrived with generalized dermatitis, especially affecting her face and limbs. A skin scrape was performed and was NSF (no significant findings). She was treated with: ' Cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 14 days ' Advantage Multi ' NexGard Plus ' DA2PP ' Bordetella ' Rabies ' 1 year ' Deworming / Pyrantel Sarina also developed coughing and clear nasal discharge during her stay and was treated for CIRD with doxycycline. On 8/28, her record states 'CIRD resolved' and she was moved to ADOPT. Her most recent medical record on 8/29 still lists dermatitis. Sarina's heartworm test is HIGH POSITIVE and she will need veterinary follow-up and appropriate heartworm treatment. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Sarina has consistently shown sweet, calm and manageable behavior. She walks well on a loose leash, enjoys pets, keeps her kennel clean and has remained neutral around other dogs. she greeted staff with a loose body, fast wagging tail, ears up, open-mouth smile and soft eyes.
