Intake Info: Julie A2009445 & Julie A2009446 were owner surrendered to one of our officers who responded to a call about a manner of keeping. Doc A2009476 & Blair A2343146 were also owner surrendered at the same time and are currently here at the shelter. Medical: Julie is a 7 year old intact female who is heartworm positive her vet exam noted - intact adult female dog HS-5 (Heartworm disease, musculoskeletal disease, black mass left lateral stifle, needs sterilization, needs assessment of stiffness, weakness hind end, needs evaluation of black mass, left lateral leg. Julia is a 7 year old intact female her vet exam noted - adult female unspayed dog, FAs-0, HS-5 (heartworm, multiple black dermal masses on body) will need sterilization, HW treatment, evaluation and possible mass removals Staff Notes: Julia - Did well for vet exam and allowed handling all over, when walking back into cage froze and stiffened when passing other dogs and started low growling. Julie -older girl, wide chested, trimmed some nails, sweet girl. Volunteer Notes: Julia - She did great in the yard today. I was able to pet her head and body. An employee walked her to the yard and back. Request to Rescues: Julie & Julia are 2 rottweilers that are in need of urgent rescue as their medical needs exceed the capacity of care here at the shelter.
