Meet Valencia (A571860) 🖤💕 🗓️ 3 years old ♀️ Female ⚖️ 67 lbs 🐶 American Pit Bull Terrier Just look at that happy face! 🥹💕 Valencia is a beautiful, sweet girl with a mild temperament, medium energy, and an easy, uncomplicated vibe. She's been waiting at the shelter since July 2, and after nearly two months, she needs someone to finally choose her. 💕 Sweet & easygoing: Valencia enjoys affection and attention but doesn't need to be the center of everything. She can be a little independent, taking some time to look around and get comfortable before deciding what interests her. Once she does, she's happy to soak up pets and spend time with her people. ❤️ 🦮 Walks & potty: On a recent volunteer outing, Valencia went potty right away! She was initially a little excited on leash, but as the walk continued, she settled in nicely. Her volunteer thinks regular walks and a predictable routine will help her become even more comfortable and easier to walk. 🐾 In the big pen, Valencia took her time exploring before showing some interest in a stuffy and possibly chasing a ball or squeaky toy. She's not overly toy-driven'and apparently she has standards when it comes to treats, too! 😂 Gentle and Dainty play style ' steerable, semi-engaged, and people friendly. Valencia did well with all of the dogs she met in playgroup. Valencia seems like the kind of dog who could really shine once she settles into a routine. She's sweet, calm, affectionate without being demanding, and just needs someone willing to give her a little time to decompress and show them who she is.
