Pre-Screener Form King Bear is at risk due to behavior concerns in the care center. King Bear is noted to display fearful behavior often becoming avoidant of unfamiliar handlers. King bear will displayed a lowered body, pinned ears, retreating, and exit seeking behaviors. With familiar handler King Bear is responsive to handlers, accepting treats and petting, and walking with minimal to moderate leash tension without reactivity toward people or dogs. Medically King bear has Dermatitis. King Bear came to ACC as an owner surrender. His previous owner describes King Bear as a social, affectionate, lazy/couch potato. He enjoys being where the people are best! He loves baths/showers but does not like his nails/paws touched. He pulls a moderate amount and gets walked 4-5 times a day for 30 min. He understands the command sit only and has never been crated. His previous owner stated that they adore how much King Bear loves other dogs and other people.
