Intake Info: Genie (A2343114) was found in an empty wooded lot next to the source's home. He was unsure how long she had been there but provided her with food and water. Genie was extremely thin when found. Medical: Genie is a geriatric, unaltered female who is heartworm negative, fully processed, emaciated, and anemic. She has moderate dental disease noted on a limited dental exam. Her ears were dirty but showed no signs of infection. Staff Notes: Genie is a little skittish and flinches with touch, particularly during processing. Request to Rescues: Genie is a sweet senior girl who is in urgent need of rescue. She is severely underweight with muscle wasting and anemia and needs a quiet, comfortable environment where she can receive proper nutrition, veterinary care, and plenty of TLC.
