Bluey Coco Esay is exhibiting signs of arousal and anxiety in the shelter environment and is having a hard time adapting. She has been observed to protest handler corrections with tools, but does enjoy treats and stuffies! She is not doing well here at the shelter and her behavior is declining. She is becoming more anxious in her kennel, jumpy mouthy when frustrated, and redirecting at other dog when barrier reactive. She is a very sweet girl and needs out of the shelter. This animal would benefit from an environment with less stimulation and some training to help them cope with over arousing stimuli and anxiety. This dog is working with our training team daily on leash skills, basic obedience, and good manners.
