I am a neutered male, 52.40 lbs, brown and white Pit Bull Terrier mix. I have been at the shelter since Aug 04, 2026. I am an at risk animal. TransferDAS@rivco.org Breed: Pit Bull Terrier mix Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 3 months old. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 05/01/26 Took dog out for morning enrichment. Remained social while in play yard. 05/19/26 On initial approach to the kennel, dog is standing at the front loose and wiggly. Handler was able to leash up dog and walk out to the play yard. Walked well on leash. While in the play yard, dog stayed close to handler and solicited attention. Handler was able to pet dog on the head and body. Dog was soft and gentle. Has a kennel mate. 05/27/26 Had good gate greetings. Tested steering while in the catch pin, appeared steerable. Took a correction. Remained social and playful with other dogs. 08/14/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed entering the yard swiftly and presenting high energy, puppyish, awkward and playful behaviors with other dogs in playgroup. 08/26/26 Dog participated in playgroup. 09/01/26 16:44 During kennel walk through observed dog tracking moving close to the kennel door - after a moment the dog would lunge towards the movement and begin alarm barking with a hard stare - use caution if handling. MEDICAL NOTES 04/28/26 14:48 ER - Scanned no chip. Dog vaccinated, weighed, dewormed, adminstered k9 advantx 04/29/26 15:57 Transfer from Blythe, nothing needed at this time. 05/01/26 13:45 MC implanted and rabies given sq. 05/04/26 08:22 Patient is BAR / NSF. MC Confirmed. Okay to proceed with alteration through An Sam's. NEUTERED 05/10/26 09:44 During am walkthrough noticed heavy clear nasal disharge. E/D well. RX: Doxycycline 200 mg PO SID x 10 days. 05/20/26 17:55 Patient brought to vet staff after altercation with kennel mate. There are several bite wounds to left pinna noted. Patient also still showing signs of URI. Thick yellow nasal discharge present. Will switch meds to Clavamox as per protocol for URI and bite wounds and flag for Dr. review. 06/03/26 10:30: Cageside exam, full PE not performed. Ear pinnae appear fully healed, no other treatment necessary at this time. 07/10/26 17:07 mchip conf, nsf, leaving on FIDO. 07/25/26 13:37 P is going to adoption event. P is BAR. NSF. MC verified. Current on vaccines. 08/02/26 15:33 P is BAR. MC verified. NSF. Counselor mentioned that P had fs6-7 during meet and greet. Will RX: fortiflora SID x 7 days per protocol. 08/05/26 RETURN: General Attitude: BAR, very friendly- Body Condition (1to 9): 5/9- Intake vaccines: Done, Da2pp + L, UTD on BORD- Other care Provided: P came in with fortiflora tab- Given 1 tab PO SID x 5 more days 08/11/26 12:11 Came in from possible dog fight. Has a decent laceration on the right side of neck. Clipped and cleaned. Gave 2.5ml Convenia SQ and 2ml Carprofen SQ. Going to RX 100mg Carprofen PO SID x 3 days and 300mg Gabapentin PO BID x 10 days for pain per protocol. 08/27/26 16:20 following up on treatment board , P has diarrhea -no Stool found , will need to collect stool or requet for ACT to bring in sample . Per Protocol +floroflora Pk: 1 sid x 10 day
