Lang is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Prince Georges County Animal Services in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He is a young adult and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Lang, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

At first, Lang can be a little reserved as he takes everything in, but give him a moment and he'll happily come over for some pets. He's a pretty calm boy who enjoys simply hanging out with his people. And while he wasn't particularly impressed by my very delicious, very high-quality chicken treats 😂, he was more than happy to accept some affection instead. Lang has already shown what a good houseguest he can be, too! During a sleepover while at Brandywine, he was reported to be gentle and calm and did well with the cat. He also reportedly did well in playgroups, and he met Leo here and peacefully coexisted with him, enjoying a leisurely walk. Lang went potty right away and several times while he was out with me, so he was definitely taking advantage of his outdoor time! 🌳 If you're looking for a mellow, sweet companion who may take a little time to warm up but has a gentle heart underneath that initial shyness, Lang could be your guy.
