Euth Request | Labrador Retriever / Pointer Mix | Neutered Male | 1Y | 39 lbs | HW Low Positive 💜 Volunteer Notes: We were not able to meet Royal. If you?re interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us! 🔹 Intake: 20+ aggressive dogs on the property going to caller?s property causing harm to pets; has $2000 vet bills; surveillance footage & documents; dogs very skinny, can see rib cage. 📝 Shelter Notes: 11/22/2025 ? Passing kennel, Royal stood with a low head and tense body behind the doggie door, then slowly walked toward me then turned around and sat at the opposite door of the outside kennel, trembled, stiff. 11/21/2025 ? Dog is very timid. When I approach kennel, he runs to the opposite side with low head and tucked tail. I had to close the doggy door to enter to leash him. Once I closed it I was able to enter and he just curled up in the corner with low head. I easily leashed him. He walked well; he seemed more relaxed and not as nervous/timid, he had a swaying tail, held his head high, and would just turn to look at me when I baby talked. I placed him in the runs and he quickly started to sniff around. When coming back to retrieve him, he was waiting at the front of the door with relaxed body and I was able to easily leash him. 11/20/2025 ? Royal displayed anxious and nervous behavior throughout the day: tail tucked between legs, curled up in back of kennel, whale eyes, ears down, crawling away when approaching, crouching. Another BARC staff member reported he did approach them as they stood at the kennel door and he licked their hand. He would freeze if the leash tightened when walking then walked loosely by my side, glancing toward me, stiff, tense body, tail between his legs. He started to dig a hole outside to the run next to his then sat by the hole when he saw my approaching like I didn?t see him. 11/24/2025 ? Quiet in kennel, avoiding eye contact. I slowly walked into kennel and leashed once I leashed he walked out to runs on a loose leash with a slight wag tail. 11/23/2025 ? Royal presented tucked tail, low head and tense body as I leashed her up using baby talk and she came with me. Outside she walks slowly with worry face and she was trembling in the outside runs so I just wait for Royal did the potty to returned her to the kennel. 🚑 Medical Notes: 11/10/2025 ? HW low positive; underweight at 27 lbs. 11/18/2025 ? Heartworms confirmed; normal exam. 11/24/2025 ? Normal exam.
