Sutton

Sutton is an adoptable female Dutch Shepherd looking for a home at DeKalb County Animal Services in Chamblee, Georgia. She is a young adult and large in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 4 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Sutton, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Sutton is a shy, sensitive beauty who doesn't understand what she's doing in the shelter. However, as we've gotten to know her, it's pretty clear she craves affection and a connection with people. She quietly went to sit next to a volunteer on a bench and gave them gentle face licks. She did the same with a male volunteer. Once she got comfortable with everyone, she burst into very fast zoomies and had a blast. She looked so pleased with herself that all the volunteers smiled and laughed at her joy. Sutton is less than 2 yrs old, 60 lbs and absolutely stunning with her foxy ears, one blue eye and one brown eye, and her beautiful brindle striping.
