STAFF OBSERVATIONS 09/04/26 Dog appears to not be adjusting well to shelter environment. Dog is stiff in kennel with tail tucked and is alarm barking at handler throughout observation. 09/05/26 Took dog out for media, dog growled when approached in kennel and retreated to back of kennel, tail tucked, avoiding eye contact. Was able to leash dog after coaxing, while on leash dog walked past barking dogs without reacting. Dog liked to explore surroundings in play yard and approached handler after being coaxed. Was able to re-leash and re- kennel with no problems. Currently kenneled alone.
