STAFF OBSERVATIONS 08/28/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting appropriate greetings and kept to self for duration of play group. 08/30/26 09:13 Upon approach dog was observed at front of kennel and soliciting attention. Allowed handler to leash and walk to play-yard. Walked well on leash and did not react to others while entering and exiting kennel. In play-yard dog was observed walking around but mainly staying near handler soliciting attention. Did not protest being leashed and rekenneled. Plan to sedate when time permits for possible xray, clip and clean of paws where foxtails present, ear flush and medication needed AU. 08/22/26 15:36 per dvm patient was sedated with ttdex .52cc (26-472) IV for clip and clean, patient had several foxtails on whole body with purulent discharge present at removal of foxtails, whole body was shaved. patient was provided second dose of ttdex 0.2cc IV durning dvm check in for possible rectum abscess due to patient waking up and being vocal. xrays were performed lt lateral and dorsal palmar. per dvm possible lt front leg might be dislocated, possible amputation. per dvm okay to rx simadol 0.7cc bid for next 3 days. patient recovered well, no reversal provided, convenia 3.4cc sq was provided 08/22/26 16:48 blood draining wound lateral to right anal gland -> removed 3 foxtails RAD : chronic left elbow luxation plan) ok to move P to kennel contact rescue for proper orthopedic sx to save the left front limb or amputation will be considered recheck in 5 days 08/23/26 15:57 patient care update: e/d well, u/bm wnl. very friendly and sweet, has somewhat of possible limp, per dvm patient has chronic left elbow luxation. rescue must be contacted, patient needs specialty sx or leg amputation will be considered. patient currently on gaba and simadol. dvm will recheck in 5 days. will kennel once simadol is done on 8/25 08/25/26 09:25 Ate all food and drank water, BAR, no signs of vomiting, had BM in kennel which was stepped on (unable to eval FS), urinated outside which appeared normal.
