Please contact the shelter for more information. Behavior - not doing well in shelter. Needs an adopter or rescue. Adopters visit in person. Rescues please visit in person or email TransferDAS@rivco.org Breed: Shepherd Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. STAFF OBSERVATIONS 07/18/26 social with handler, walked well on leash. Walked into kennel. 07/24/26 Able to leash dog in kennel with no issue and walked well to play yard. Once in yard dog enjoyed playing in water and jumping in the pool. Also when in the yard dog was soliciting attention from handler and walked back to kennel with no issues. 07/30/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting assertive behaviors with other dogs. Dog was observed overcorrecting other dogs 3 separate times with the final overcorrection resulting in a minor altercation. Dog was steerable with mid level tool out of altercation. 08/21/26 Dog participated in a small group session. Dog was observed to herself most of duration of playgroup with minor tension and over correction when dogs would approach. Recommend a small group or with kennel mate only in yard. 08/29/26 Dog participated in individual enrichment due to injury. 09/08/26 Dog is currently kenneled alone due to previous kennel fight injury and being unable to cohouse safely.
