More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 03, 2026. I am in kennel DB18. Weight: 37.4 lbs Intake date: 9/3/26 Wilma and Annie (ID #A209284) came in together. They are both on the euthanasia list 💔 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Wilma was medically assessed as NORMAL on intake and is heartworm NEGATIVE/NAD. She was noted to be in heat. She received DA2PP-V, Bordetella, 1-year rabies vaccine, deworming, Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Wilma is frightened and shut down in the shelter. Staff have observed her trembling, crouching or pancaking at the back of her kennel with a tucked tail, pinned ears and lowered head. At times she has been too scared to walk and has needed to be carried. But there are important glimpses of trust. Wilma allowed a staff member to scratch her head and pick her up without a muzzle. When the staff member returned to her outside, Wilma approached with a low wagging tail before quietly sitting nearby. She is particularly frightened by barking dogs and may freeze or panic on leash.
