She was easily collared by the runner in the catch pen, but she fearfully pancaked to the ground. She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs and tolerated them both sniffing her. She then walked away and began to explore the yard. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. After exploring the yard, she continued to tolerate dogs approaching her and sniffing her, but she still did not retum the greetings. She then began to anxiously pace up and down the fence line repeatedly looking for a way out of the yard. She began to eye the top of the fence and then went to a comer of the yard and tried pulling the chain link fence with her teeth. She continued this pacing and seeking an exit behavior for a couple of minutes and did not settle. To prevent any further stress to her and her trying to escape the yard, she was removed from the yard after a short time. During her time in the yard, she remained tolerant of the other dogs and was not interested in engaging in any play. She was very wary of the handlers in the yard and would constantly create space from them. Due to her very fearful nature, she will likely do best in an adult only home. She will also need socialization to walking on a leash.
