Seamus is a male dog who has a fracture of the distal condyle of his right humerus, causing significant pain and limiting the use of his front leg. He will require orthopedic surgery with IM pinning or, if surgery is not possible, amputation of the affected front leg. Seamus needs an urgent, compassionate placement where he can receive the specialized surgical care and recovery support he needs. Seamus is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.
