SOURCE STATED DOG IS SUPER SWEET AND DESERVES ALL THE LOVE AND CARE Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 9/12/2026 Handler approached kennel front; Dog was standing with ears alert; tail wagging; Handler unlocked door and was able to leash with ease; moderate pull to yard; ignored dogs in passing; walked right out to yard immediately urinating and shortly alter defecating; Solicited pets and attention to handler; Dog Stood near exit gate when readily ready to go back to kennel; moderate pull back; ignored dogs in passing; entered kennel with ease; unleashed by hand. 9/8/2026 Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, some pull on short walk; carried a stuffy around yard; enjoyed pets; took treats nicely; barked at a nearby dog; knows sit; easy walk back; nonreactive to dogs in pod 9/6/2026 Calm on approach, leashed w/all 4 on floor, allowed all handling, very affectionate, enjoyed drinking water from hose, some pull to yard, loose leash back to kennel, easy leash retrieval on return. 9/6/2026 Easy to pull from kennel, Easy to return to kennel, easy leash; nonreactive to dogs on exit; loose leash walk to yard; went potty (suspected house trained) then came over for affection; solicited pets; chased a stuffy and would return it to me; took treats gently; calm walk back, easy unleash 8/14/2026 Dog was laying in back of kennel, stood up with tense body and wide eyes, slowly took a few steps forward, pausing with a lifted front paw, trembling, low tail, would not fully come through divider, handler tossed treats and dog took a few more steps forward but when another staff member approached dog shifted backwards, retreating to back of kennel. Requesting full evaluation 8/14/2026 Dog was at front of kennel as handler approached, lifted front paw, handler walked to back of kennel and dog came out, handler closed divider, dog would sniff treats but did not eat, wide eyes, furrowed brow, would tilt head slightly when handler said \"walk\", stood with front paws on door, jumped down as handler opened door, pushing at opening, backed away as handler attempted to drape leash over head, handler held large loop at front of kennel and was able to place leash as dog came forward to push at gate, exited kennel, loose leash walk to yard, would urinate and defecate upon entering yard, wandering with neutral body, still tail slightly below spine level, dog would come up to handler and sniff them, allowed some petting along side, walked away, returned when handler said \"treat,\" ate gently, handler asked for sit, dog jumped up with front paws on their lap but easily guided back to ground, dog would tolerate petting but did not solicit attention, would shy away from touch over head. Handler tossed a nearby plastic ball, dog followed and sniffed it but lost interest, same with a stuffed toy, dog would wander for a few minutes, neutral body, stoic, followed handler to catch pen and allowed them to pick up leash, walked back to kennel then began pulling away hard, there were treats left at front of kennel and dog leaned forward to sniff them, then backed away, pulling hard in opposite direction, handler walked dog a few steps away then came back toward kennel, tossing treats, took a half step into kennel, dog would follow in, then tried to turn to exit as handler stepped out and closed door, dog stood at front of kennel eating treats and allowed handler to remove leash by hand. 8/13/2026 k9 came into room , allowed handling, didnt want to go on scale, would pancake and freeze, put k9 muzzle on for precaution.
