She entered the play yard with soft body language. She was approached by two dogs and exchanged soft greetings with them both. After the dogs broke away, she began to roam the yard and explore. She was tolerant of dogs trailing her to sniff her. She continued to roam the yard and exchange soft greetings with the other dogs. Amale cattle dog offered her a play. She retumed the play bow, and they engaged in gentle/dainty play. She remained playful and social for the rest of her time in the yard. She would approach the handlers and seek affection. Cali is social with the other dogs and prefers a gentle/dainty play style. See additional assessment for her behavior with a small dog. When the small dog entered the play yard, she approached it softly and exchanged good greetings with it. The small dog was not comfortable with her at first and gave her an air snap correction. She had no negative reaction back to the correction. She re-approached the small dog and remained social. She remained soft and social with the small dog for the rest of the time in the yard. She took futher corrections from the small dog and had no negative reaction back to it. She will be ok for adoption with small dogs.
