I am a spayed female, blue and white Pit Bull Terrier. I have been at the shelter since Jun 13, 2026. I am an at risk animal. Please contact the shelter for more information. Medical - multiple firm lumps (approx. 2-3inches) in submandibular area,suspected enlarged lymph nodes - Can you help? Needed assistance to kennel. 06/16/26 Dog participated in playgroup today. Dog was observed presenting appropriate greetings and remained social/playful for duration of play group. 06/18/26 Dog participated in playgroup. GREETER 07/01/26 Dog participated in playgroup. GREETER 07/14/26 Dog was out for playgroup. GREETER 07/30/26 Dog participated in playgroup. GREETER 08/06/26 Dog participated in playgroup style today. Dog was removed from greeter list due to tense pushy behaviors with majority of dogs that came into play yard. 08/14/26 Dog participated in small playgroup. 08/29/26 Dog participated in small playgroup. DVM to recheck. 09/05/26 13:32 multiple fir lumps (approx. 2-3inches) in submandibular area - suspected enlarged submandibular lymph nodes r/o lymphoma, reactive lymphadenopathy, etc. moderate hyperemia with chemosis OD Dx) 4DX in house * inhouse FNA cytology was not done today due to P's resistance. sedation will be needed for proper sampling Tx) Convenia 2.0ml SQ dexamethasone SP 4mg/ml : 1.0ml IV Rx) prednisone 20mg: 1 tab PO BID for 7 days (dose will be adjusted during recheck) BNP : 1 strip into OD BID for 7 days plan) recheck in 5 days -please contact rescue : suspected lymphoma - FNA cytology (ideally should be sent to lab for accurate interpretation) and further tx as needed(for example, chemotherapy including steroid etc if lymphoma is confirmed) 09/05/26 13:57 treatments done above. 09/10/26 11:10 OD NSF ' resolved lumps around neck have reduced in size obviously but still mildly visible P BAR Rx) extending prednisone 20mg: 1 tab PO BID for 7 days waiting for rescue recheck in 5 days
