He was muzzled prior to entering the yard, due to his behavior in the catch pen and prior altercations with a dog in the previous home. He entered the play yard with soft body language. He then approached a male shepherd and immediately became tense. He had a high tail, hacklesraised, body in forward posture and growing. He froze for a couple of seconds growling and then lunged to try to bite him. A handler was able to pull him away via his leash and the male shepherd was moved away to safety. He was then approached by a female shepherd. He immediately became tense and began to growl when she over eight feet away from him. As she got a little closer, he had a high tail and forward body posture, continuing to growl. When she got within a few feet of him, he lunged growling and tried to bite at her. Ahandler was again able to pull him away via his leash and the female shepherd was moved away to safety. He was then removed from the yard at this time.
