ID #A1860539 4-year-old Chihuahua Shorthair Mix Male | Tan/Brown DOB: 3/19/2022 Weight: 16.5 lbs Intake date: 9/8/26 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Marinero was found on the side of the road unable to bear weight on his right rear leg. X-rays were scheduled for rescue. He also has dermatitis and tested positive for scabies. His heartworm test is low positive. He has received rabies, DA2PP, Bordetella, deworming and Advantage Multi. He was prescribed gabapentin and carprofen for pain and inflammation. 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Marinero is a quiet, gentle little dog who has been calm in his kennel. He allows handling, is easy to leash and walks loosely when able. Because of his injured leg, he has sometimes needed to be carried, but he remains patient and cooperative. He quietly rests on his blanket and sits patiently in the potty yard. He needs rescue help and medical care for his injured leg.
