She is generally easy to leash and has walked both loosely and with some forward pulling. The noisy shelter environment appears stressful for her. She has been observed trembling, panting and vocalizing when other dogs are barking or when there is lots of activity around her kennel. Covering her kennel helps her settle and become quiet. Despite the stress, Apple continues greeting people with a happy, wiggly demeanor. She takes treats gently and has followed a trail of treats while walking. One note mentions her becoming jumpy and mouthy with a handler's hand while being leashed after becoming excited in the outside run.
