Dogs had attacked another dog the other day. No other details available. Evaluation Comments (Observations from our staff and volunteers) 9/18/2026 Dog approached front of kennel; soft; took treats gently; allowed for easy leashing; positioned behavior taxi right at front of kennel; dog walked past kennel; moderate pull; pulled away; handler opened building door; dog came forward; exited; stop and go; was stopped sniffing; group of staff walked by; soft; tail started wagging; continued to walk; at times used light leash pressure. In yard, dog explored for a few moments; approached handler; offered treats; mouthy with treats; took treats gently from open palm; allowed for petting; able to lure into sit; sniffed handler's treat pouch; dog went back to exploring yard. Handler tried verbally coaxing to yard gate; more interested in sniffing; picked leash up; would not follow; used treats to lure; dog followed; exited yard; handler would toss treats ahead; dog would follow; would not walk through building door; handler ran out of treats; allowed to muzzle wrap; picked up; briefly flailed; placed in kennel; allowed for leash removal. 9/13/2026 Wagging tail, loose bodied, walked up to ASO, allowed slow leashing, did not walk on leash and pulled back but did not thrash, allowed ASO to pick up without restraint and load into truck kennel without issue. 9/13/2026 allows leash placement, not walking at this time, placed into pet taxi, allows all petting, allows all handling, solicits attention from all handlers on ramp, soft body, tail wagging to right, tense during vaccines, rode to kennel in pet taxi, kenneled with no difficulty, Name: Spud Animal ID: A5171578 Breed: CREAM/WHITE AM PIT BULL TER Sex: Male Age: 5Y 0M Weight: 54.1 lbs Kennel: West Kennel, Wing G - 203 Intake Date: 9/13/2026 Deadline Date: 9/23/2026
