Lunchbox is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at Chicago Animal Care and Control in Chicago, Illinois. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Lunchbox, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Lunchbox was found roaming the streets by one of our volunteers. She offered him her own lunch & that was all it took to get this sweet boy to safety at the shelter. (And yes, the name stuck for a reason). Since then, Lunchbox has been showing everyone exactly what kind of dog he is: fun, gentle, affectionate. He's been crushing it in agility & enjoying every second of summer in the baby pools. He loves treats & takes them gently. He loves to play & get love from volunteers. His fan base is growing day by day. He's the kind of dog who makes friends without even trying! We don't know what brought Lunchbox to the streets, but we do know this: he deserves a whole lot more than a shelter can give him. So now we're hoping YOU can help us get him seen. Share Lunchbox.
