Lala

Lala is an adoptable female Shepherd looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Lala, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/05/2026 - Dog displays sociability with handler by coming over to greet with a loose body and a wagging tail. She retreats away from me as I enter kennel and attempt to leash her where she is leashed. She walks slowly out of kennel and through building and is easy to leash and walk outside where she walks slowly on leash. She displays sociability with all handlers by coming over for treats and affection with a loose body and a wagging tail where she whines in yard at times. She displays sociability with dogs at barrier by greeting appropriately with a loose body and a wagging tail. She is easy to return to kennel. Vet Exam Notes: 09/15/2026 - Patient presented for open incision site and VE- coughing QAR, very sweet. Clear nose and eyes. No coughing noted.
