West is an adoptable male Siberian Husky looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is senior and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to medical. Adopting West, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

West is a 9-year-old dog in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the continued care and support he needs. West is blind and has difficulty navigating his surroundings, including occasionally walking into walls. Despite his vision loss, West deserves a safe, patient, and loving environment where he can feel secure and continue to enjoy life. He would benefit from a consistent routine, a calm home, and someone willing to help him safely navigate his surroundings. Ongoing veterinary care and monitoring will also be important to help address his needs and maintain his comfort and quality of life. With patience, stability, and compassion, West can continue to have a happy and fulfilling life. He is at risk for euthanasia due to medical concerns beyond our scope of care.
