Chester is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to medical. Adopting Chester, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Chester is a 5-year-old male dog in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the continued care and support he needs. Chester is currently experiencing lameness in his left front leg, with a soft tissue injury suspected. He also has an impacted anal gland on his left side, which will require veterinary attention and ongoing monitoring. Chester would benefit from a safe, stable, and supportive environment where he can receive appropriate veterinary care and have time to rest and recover. His care may include monitoring his mobility, activity restriction as recommended by a veterinarian, treatment for his leg injury, and management of his impacted anal gland. With proper veterinary care, patience, and a loving home, Chester has the opportunity to recover and continue enjoying a happy and comfortable life.
