This precious dog will soon have his life cut short in the Wichita pound for NO REASON. He is over Kansas Humane Society's age limit for adoption, and has poor skin from possible allergies or even simply fleas and poor nutrition' that is his crime. He is friendly, eager to love, even after being catchpoled and surviving shelter life. Only the most resilient dogs are able to maintain that level of trust after such a traumatic experience- yet here is he is, waiting for a chance. He is a black pittie, and no longer a puppy. Mucous membranes pink and moist. Mild dental tartar. Clear to mucoid ocular discharge from both eyes secondary to entropion, left more than right. Waxy debris in both ears. Heart and lungs auscultate within normal limits. Generalized hair loss, worse on caudal half of body and back legs. Dry skin. Skin of back legs is eurythmic and mildly thickened. Likely chronic skin allergies. Rx prednisone allergy dose. Tested negative for Heartworms on 09/10/2026. Received both DA2PP and Bordetella on 09/10/2026.
