Lorelai

Lorelai is an adoptable female American Bulldog looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. She is fully grown and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with only 3 days left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Lorelai, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/06/2026 - Dog is nervous upon approach barking with a tense body and trembling. As I open the door to her kennel, she slowly comes over and is able to be leashed. She walks outside slowly as she is nervous. She greets a male dog she was impounded with with a loose body and wagging tail. Once in a play yard, she adjusts displaying sociability by coming over to all handlers with a loose body and wagging tail. She jumps up in handlers' laps for affection and attempts to lick faces. She is returned to kennel.
