Pineapple is an adoptable female Labrador Retriever looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. ID #A2096741 15 months old ' Spayed Female Labrador Retriever Mix ' Black Weight: 51 lbs intake date: 9/19/26 Status: Rescue only ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Pineapple is heartworm negative and her medical exam was listed as normal. She has a green-line tattoo confirming she is spayed. She has received vaccinations, deworming and preventative treatment. ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Pineapple is a young dog who appears unsure and uncomfortable with leash removal in the shelter. She may initially stay toward the back of her kennel with a tense or worried expression, but gentle baby talk has encouraged her to come forward. Once leashed, she has repeatedly walked outside with a neutral or loose body and walked nicely on a loose leash.
