Wrigley is an adoptable male Pit Bull Terrier looking for a home at BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas. He is a young adult and medium in size. ID #A2094168 2-year-old male Boxer / Labrador Retriever mix Black DOB: 9/2/2024 Weight: 27.2 lbs Intake date: 9/2/26 ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Wrigley developed an upper respiratory infection/CIRD with nasal discharge and frequent sneezing. He completed an initial 10-day course of doxycycline 100 mg once daily, but on 9/22 he still had serous nasal discharge and mild sneezing, so treatment was extended for another 5 days. ❤️ Heartworm NEGATIVE. ⸻ BEHAVIOR NOTES: Wrigley has repeatedly shown staff his wiggly, energetic and social side. He greets people with a loose, wiggly body and wagging tail and is described as easy to leash. He generally walks on a loose or semi-loose leash, sometimes with an excited, bouncy or zig-zagging step. Staff have found him quietly resting on his cot, and he has walked calmly to and from the potty yard. Outside, he has been observed running along the fence line with a neighboring dog.
