ID #A2094330 3-year-old male Boxer mix White Weight: 67.2 lbs Intake date: 9/3/26 🎥 Watch Andy: ⸻ 🩺 MEDICAL NOTES: Andy developed a consistent dry, hacking cough on 9/22 and was assessed as suspected CIRD/URI. He remained bright, alert and energetic despite his symptoms. 💊 Treatment: Doxycycline 300 mg once daily for 10 days and moved to a treatment kennel. ❤️ Heartworm test: NEGATIVE ⸻ 🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES: Andy arrived as a roaming stray and initially seemed unsure about walking through doorways and returning to his kennel. With patience, baby talk and time, he has made wonderful progress. Recent notes describe Andy greeting staff with a relaxed body, wagging tail, soft eyes and an open, smiling mouth. He is easy to leash and has repeatedly walked on a loose leash. He has become increasingly comfortable entering and exiting his kennel and enjoys affection once he relaxes. Andy has generally passed other dogs without issue during walks, although one note mentions him barking when dogs passed his kennel.
