Luna

Luna is an adoptable female Husky looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. She is a young adult and medium in size. She is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list with just one day left, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Luna, or even sharing her story, could save a life before it's too late.

Luna is a female dog who has been experiencing a lack of appetite and is not responding to current medications as expected. Without prompt veterinary evaluation and appropriate treatment, she is at risk for continued decline, worsening illness, dehydration, and additional complications. Luna requires further diagnostic evaluation and specialized medical care to determine the underlying cause of her condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan. This level of specialized medical care and monitoring exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite her condition, Luna remains resilient and is doing her best while receiving supportive care. Luna needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive immediate veterinary evaluation, diagnostic testing, appropriate medical treatment, and close monitoring to help restore her health and comfort.
