Bubba is an adoptable male American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a home at Dallas Animal Services in Dallas, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to medical. Adopting Bubba, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Bubba is a male dog who presented with osteoarthritis affecting both front legs, including the elbows and carpal (wrist) joints. His condition is chronic and will require lifelong medical management to help maintain his comfort and mobility. Without appropriate ongoing care, Bubba may experience increased pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, and progression of his arthritis. His care may include long-term pain management, weight management, joint-supportive therapies, controlled exercise, and regular veterinary monitoring. This level of ongoing medical management exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his condition, Bubba remains resilient and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. Bubba needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive appropriate veterinary care, lifelong pain and arthritis management, and continued monitoring to help maintain his comfort and quality of life.
