Domino

Domino is an adoptable male Labrador Retriever looking for a home at San Antonio Animal Care Services in San Antonio, Texas. He is fully grown and medium in size. He is currently on the shelter's euthanasia list and today is the last day, listed due to lack of space. Adopting Domino, or even sharing his story, could save a life before it's too late.

Evaluation Notes: 09/27/2026 - Continuing to work with dog, He is laying in bed with a tense body and a tucked tail upon approach. He sits up in bed with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail as I enter kennel. He is interested in high value treats offered to him on bed and from hadn which he takes gently from hand. He is not interested in receiving affection and flinches as I attempt to pet him while he takes treats. After discontinuing treats, he moves closer to me seemingly interested in continued treats. He is not interested in being leash by retreating away from leash with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He is given space.
